Major theme for today: Romans 12:9 — “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.”


If and when you have done something to embarrass yourself, this is a basic principle for achieving recovery:


•Recovery comes best to those who respond (repent) fastest and most thoroughly


Another way to say this: “Recovery is in direct correlation to…”


•how quickly you can stop rationalizing about your problem.


•how serious you are about making things right

Think of a time when you failed at something:


•and you owned it quickly and completely


•or, when you failed to admit your mistake, and you were left with a large amount of guilt and shame.
