Galatians 1:11-24

Paul says he was "extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers" (Galatians 1:14). What are some traditions, habits, or attitudes that are often passed down through families? Which ones reflect the gospel, and which ones may need to be broken?

•What are you intentionally passing on to the next generation?

•Paul's life wasn't simply improved by the gospel—it was completely transformed. How would you explain the difference between behavior modification and the new identity that Christ gives?

•In what area of your life do you most need to live from your new identity rather than your old one?

•In verses 15–16, Paul reminds us that God set him apart before he was born and called him by grace, despite his past. How does God's grace change the way we view our failures, regrets, or accomplishments?

•Do you tend to define yourself more by your past mistakes or by your present standing in Christ?

•After his dramatic conversion, Paul spent years in relative obscurity before beginning his public ministry. Why do you think God often does His deepest work in seasons that seem hidden or unnoticed?

•What "hidden" areas of faithfulness is God developing in your life right now?

•The sermon's main idea was: "What man invents, man can revise. What God delivers, we only pass on." What does it look like in everyday life to faithfully pass on the gospel rather than simply passing on our own opinions, preferences, or traditions?

•If someone looked at your life today, what would they say you are most intentionally handing down—to your children, your family, or the people God has placed in your life?
